Guest Information & Policies
Welcome to the Carlton Club Inn. We are excited to show you some of the best hospitality in the Hill Country. It is our goal is to provide individualized, exceptional service and ensure that you have a wonderful and memorable experience. Please take a look at our policies and know we are here to answer any questions you may have.

Reservations
Reservations are charged an advanced deposit at the time the reservation is made either from the website or by phone, totaling one night’s stay or 50% of the room charges for a multiple night stay. The balance is due upon checkout and may be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, check with proper ID, and cash in the correct amount. Reservations made less than 10 days prior to your date of arrival will be charged the full amount of your stay. Confirmations will be automatically sent to the email address provided.

Room Rates
Room rates are based on double occupancy. Weekday rates are Sunday–Thursday and may be lower than the Weekend rates, which are Friday & Saturday. Rates are subject to change at any time and may be higher on a Sunday preceding a holiday. We may also require a two night minimum for certain weekends throughout the year. Room rates are based on double occupancy, and additional registered guests will be charged $25.00 per day.

Check-in/Check-out
Check-in is normally from 3 pm to 6 pm. We will contact you the day before your arrival to schedule your check-in time. Please let us know at that time of your travel plans so that we may best meet your individual needs. Self check-in is also an available option and can be discussed at that time. Check-out is 11 am.  Should you need a late check-out please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellations
We understand that unexpected situations may arise and travel plans can change for many reasons; however, please understand that to provide you with the best experience possible advanced planning goes into preparing for your arrival. Therefore, we ask that you understand and agree to the cancellation policy prior to making your reservation.

  • Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to the day of arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit minus a $25.00 cancellation fee per suite/studio reserved
  • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the day of arrival will receive a 50% refund of the deposit per suite/studio reserved
  • Cancellations made within 2 days of your scheduled arrival date, shortened stays, or early checkouts will still be charged in full unless those dates can be rebooked by another party, minus the $25.00 cancellation fee per suite/studio reserved

Housekeeping
Housekeeping services are not generally provided on a daily basis for weekend stays; however, we are happy to accommodate your individual needs and wishes, so please let us know how we can serve you best. Longer stays and extended stays will receive housekeeping and fresh linens weekly.

Smoking
For the health and enjoyment of our guests, we insist on a 100% non-smoking environment. Smoking of any kind will not be tolerated anywhere on our property. If you must smoke, please do so off-site.

Children
Children ages 14 and older are welcome and shall be considered a registered guest. The Inn was created and furnished for mature guests seeking a relaxing and peaceful retreat, and unfortunately, our accommodations and grounds are not set up for the safety and well-being of young children.

Pets
Well behaved pets may be accepted on a case by case basis and allowed only in the French Studio and the Augusta Suite. An additional pet fee of $55.00 per night will be added to your total stay. Please call ahead for prior approval and additional pet policies. We would also be happy to recommend quality local boarding facilities.

Parking
One assigned parking space is provided for each Studio or Suite with additional parking available on site. Please respect other guests and park in your assigned space.

Our office hours are generally 10 am to 6 pm, however, we are always accessible by telephone. Please call or send a text message to (830) 353-2799 to let us know what you may need or if you have any questions.

Additional Information
Upon check-in, we will give you a brief tour of our property and provide you with the necessary information to access the ice machine, as well as an additional full-size washer and dryer free for your use.

As a courtesy we would love to assist you with your visit; please ask if we can help you make special arrangements, obtain tickets or simply make recommendations.

We take pride in our property and in providing our guests with an exceptional experience. Please let us know of any breakage, damage or necessary repairs that require our attention.
